Toggle layers

A map is often several layers stacked together. Turning them on and off lets a viewer focus on exactly what they need — boundaries, labels, or centers of population — without redrawing the whole map.

Layers

Data: 2020 U.S. Census, Hawaiʻi Statewide GIS Program (public domain). Center markers sized by population.

Each checkbox adds or removes a Leaflet layer independently. Turn on the population centers to see proportional circles — Oʻahu’s stands out immediately.
